Accessible Performances

American Sign Language interpretation is available upon request. In order to provide qualified and appropriately prepared signers, we require signing requests at least two weeks prior to the performance date. You may request this service when ordering tickets. This service is available for the Sunday matinee performances for most Broadway shows.

Open captioned performances feature a text display located to the side of the stage that scrolls the dialogue and lyrics synchronization with the performance. The open captioning service is made possible through the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center’s partnership with Theatre Development Fund and its TDF Accessibility Programs (TAP). TAP has provided open captioning for over 300 productions on and off Broadway and in regional theaters. More information on TAP is available at www.tdf.org. Below is a list of open captioned performances for the 2010/2011 season. Patrons should request seats best suited to captioning when purchasing tickets.

The Center is equipped with a Sennheiser Infra-Red Sound Enhancement System to amplify stage dialogue and music. Lightweight headsets with induction loop capabilities are available at the information desk. Headsets and induction loops are distributed free-of-charge on a first-come, first-served basis.
